Welcome to my blog. It has been a dream of mine for a long time now to have my own blog where I can write about my passions. Which are wellness, fitness, clean eating, maintaining a balanced lifestyle, and so on…
But I have been putting it off. Thinking to myself that I don’t have the time. That’s it is not worth spending time on something like this when there is probably something better that I could be spending my time on. Like most of you I have a busy life. I am a working mom with a family, and there just never seems to be enough time.
And then I read something that really stuck with me:
“If you can’t stop thinking about it, it is worth doing”
So what was really stopping me from pursuing my passion? Fear? Lack of time? I decided that I didn’t want to be that person who was putting her passion aside for other things. And so here I am, just diving right in. Not really having a clue how to, or where I am going with this, but I think it’s going to be somewhere good 🙂
I have always been an active person. And I always thought that I was eating relatively healthy. You know, a bit too much sugar, but it balances out with taking an extra run or trip to the gym right?!… It wasn’t until I had my first child that I realized the importance of balance in life and how you cannot afford to neglect yourself, even if you are a busy mom. Then I did a sugar detox about a year and a half ago and that was a huge eye opener for me. So it is a combination of things that have led to me where I am now. Writing my very first blog post. Hopefully with many more to come. I cannot even begin to describe how excited I am about this, and I hope that you will want to follow me on this journey! 🙂
